We’ve been busy! iTunes, iCloud and Chat Tutorials Now Available

This week we launched several fun tutorials that can enhance your digital lifestyle. Apple has changed the way we use technology in our everyday lives and iCloud and iTunes are a huge part of the Apple experience. iTunes is a media player that allows you to import, play and purchase music, movies, TV shows, podcasts and more. Our tutorial teaches you how to use the media player along with how to search and purchase media and apps on the iTunes Store.

iCloud is a new Apple service that was launched in October. It allows you to access your music, photos, mail and more on all your devices. It was designed to provide effortless syncing and backing up of your files and media on every device you use. Our tutorial will show you how to customize iCloud to suit your individual needs.

We have added these tutorials to our Apple subject, so you can get the most out of using your iPhoneiPad and Mac devices. In December, we will also be adding an iPad 2 Basics topic.

In addition to enhancing our Apple subject, we have added a Chat tutorial to our Email Basics subject. Chat and instant messaging are becoming just as popular as emailing, so we thought it was important to cover this topic. If you have never chatted online before, this tutorial will show you the basics. It also includes lessons on several popular chat services including Windows Live Messenger, Facebook Chat and Skype IM.

Being able to communicate and access media and information from anywhere at anytime is quickly becoming a necessity in our lives. Smartphones and tablets are popping up everywhere and will likely be on many holiday wish lists this season. It is our hope that our new Apple, Digital Lifestyle, Social Media and Email Basics topics will help our learners get acquainted with these new devices and all the benefits they have to offer.
