New Digital Photography Tutorial Now Available

We just launched the first of our new Digital Lifestyle tutorials: Digital Photography. In the past decade, the popularity of digital cameras and smartphones have made it easier than ever to record the moments of our lives, no matter how big or small. But let’s face it, not everyone is a gadget geek or expert photographer, so sometimes our photographs don’t turn out so great.

That’s why we decided to create a digital photography tutorial. There are a lot of websites and blogs dedicated to photography, but they are often geared toward a more advanced or serious user. The average owner of a point-and-shoot camera or smartphone, just wants to know how to take a good shot. So our tutorial focuses on the basics, along with some tips for capturing those trickier shots.

• Adjust the various settings on your camera to take better shots
• Work with different lighting situations
• Compose a well-balanced and interesting picture
• Capture motion, landscapes, close-ups and portraits

Digital Photography is part of a new set of tutorials we are creating for our Digital Lifestyle subject. Today’s technology is changing at a rapid rate and becoming a bigger part of our lives. More and more, we are creating, consuming and sharing content digitally on devices such as iPads, eReaders, Game Players, Smartphones, etc.
