Apple’s New OS X Lion
Are you a current Mac computer user? Are you thinking of getting a MacBook or iMac? If so, you will want to know about the just-released OS X Lion, Apple’s newest operating system for Mac computers. Lion promises to change the way we interact with our desktops and laptops with new features for controlling how we navigate. Much of the new OS appears to be influenced by the design of Apple’s iPad.
To get an idea of how these new features work, watch the video:
As you can see from the video, Apple has brought it’s hugely successful App Store experience to the Mac computer. Along with standard apps, like email, calendar and Time Machine (back-up), you now also get the popular Facetime (video calls), Photo Booth (snapshots and effects) and GarageBand (make music). Of course, just like the iPhone and iPad, you can now search and download your favorite apps to be used directly on your computer. To learn more, visit OS X Apps.
If you are a current Mac user, you can download the new Lion OS X to your computer for the reasonable price of $29.99. Those with an older computer will need to check their processor speed and make sure they have the latest version of Snow Leopard (Apple’s previous OS) before upgrading. To get started, visit Upgrade to OS X Lion.
