New Email Basics Subject with Email 101, Gmail and More

Email Basics is one of our most popular tutorials and we have been hard at work updating it these past few months. Today’s email is so much more than it used to be, so we have decided to expand this tutorial into a subject that contains several topics. Our new Email Basics subject includes:

Email 101 and Gmail are essentially the replacements to the old Email Basics tutorial. Email 101 is a great tutorial for those who are brand new to email or just need a refresher about the basics. It includes an introduction to email along with tips and advice for email etiquette and safety.
We have also created a tutorial on Google’s popular web-based email program Gmail. We felt the best way to teach someone how to use email is to show them how to use a specific email program. Our Gmail tutorial will teach learners how to do the following:
- Sign up for a Gmail account
- Compose an email message
- Respond to and manage incoming email
- Set up Gmail on a mobile device
Finally, with this update we want to acknowledge that communicating online in today’s world is about more than just email. People today often use instant messaging, social posting, video chat and more to talk to each other online. That is why, in the near future, we will be launching new topics on Chat, Skype and Beyond Email (More Ways to Talk Online). We want our learners to have the skills they need to communicate in the 21st century.

I love your trainings!!! They are the best out there! Any idea when your Outlook 2010 module will be available?
Currently we have no plans to do an Outlook 2010 tutorial as we don’t have a large demand for it and in our research, it looks as if many businesses have not upgraded to Outlook 2010 yet. If trends change or the demand increases, we will obviously look at creating a tutorial then.
