Every night it seems there is more news about layoffs and the increasing unemployment rate. Both of these things spell unprecedented competition in the job market. So that got me wondering…

In this time, the health care field is needed.If GCF.org have the lesson of nuring aids or CPR or knowleage that can apply for work,It’ll helpful…like nurzing home or homecare..etc
It may be online or lesson.I’ll be the one who wait for learning.It’s helpful for every one who must take cre person too.
I would like to see career assessment ‘course’ to help a person determine what career/job would be the best one for them to pursue.
YOu should also offer something like ‘how to handle being laid off’..’how to handle losing your job’..with information to help a person walk through the process of suddenly losing their employment.
It would be nice if you give exact examples of what you offer. For instance, when showing how to prepare resumes and cover letters, give examples that relate to the information you are providing. Do not give general examples, but give exact examples of what you are saying.

First,I would like to thank you for this great website.I am fairly illiterate when it comes to computers.So I searched all over for something like this.But this is embarrassing.I don”T know the first thing about Wordpad or notepad and I haven”t purchased MSWord because I wanted to learn how to use them before I spent any money on a more sophisticated word processor.Wordpad and notepad are already on my Windows XP operating system.Could you please create a tutorial for these two basic programs.Thank you very much.
Would anyone know if Publisher 2007 will be offered anytime soon? If not, can I take the 2003 course if I have 2007? I have taken three of the Microsoft Office 2007 courses and find your teaching style to be very effective and over the top as far as online “FREE” courses go. I would like to take the above course, yet I have 2007 and not 2003.

We don’t have plans to offer a 2007 course at this time. You must have the 2003 version of the software to take the class. You can do the self paced tutorials and use the version you have on your computer. Not much changed between the two versions.

I would like to practise courses from scratch as oppose to using wizards. For example on Access 2003. I have an instructor who teaches from scratch and most of us hardly even understand. I have tried practicing on GCF. It does not really help. I would please like to practice from scratch.
RHEDIOGRAPHY and Tips on how should i work with the Orphans Because i started with them by giving the clothes that i used before. So now i want to open a Orphanage home.I was born to help others not to care for me only.How can we eat swallow nicely knowing that other people out there are Starving. Kindness is all they need from us.I am only 27 Years BUT I AM SERIOUS ABOUT THIS. The community were i leave are so poor and is full the Orphanage kids.I want to study and do something good for the community. ANY ADVISE.
Seeing there is much emphasis being placed on Green Jobs for the future, I wonder if GCF will be offering Courses that relates to these type of Jobs in the near future.
i have just finished my MSC in IWRM but i have never worked before, here is a situation where almost all the available opportunities need prior working experience. what should i do to enter the job market especially with organizations like (name edited) among others. thanks very much.

When will ACCESS 2007 be made available?
First, I thank you for the great programs that you already have in GCFLearnFree.org. It’s helpful to have online learning, specially when it free. If it is possible, in the near future, to add more classes such as basic accounting and/or accounting principals.

I would like to start with Medical (step by step)not a specific career but the beginning of the Topic to know where we want to grow into and accomplish.
Another for me would be Creminal Justice, I’ve always watched a good program on TV and wish I was into that. I do have an inventive and imaginative outlook and I believe this could be applied easily.
i work at refinery here in texas, with a contractor for field services. i would like to see the test courses and take them that have to do with the nccr that focuses on how to operate machinery, and become an operator.
I think that having an instructor led (and IACET credentailed) windows 2000, xp and vista class is likely the most universally resume worthy credential there is especially for folks who are old enough not to have had computers readily available to them when they were in school. You could java apps or flash for simulations. T-mobile (and others I’m sure) has a computer competancy test before you can be hired. I think XP is still the most used OS in work environments and if you know XP you can at least get by in Win 2000.
hello,i have been searching for a online pre-ged study classes that would help me to pass the ged exam.i am sure there are other people like me that would rather use a online site than go to a community college or a high school at night.i just think that it would be very helpful to all people trying to do better with their education.thanks.
