What’s On Your List?

Every year I start Jan 1 with a list of goals for the year. I place this list in a special place and visit it during the year to make sure I’m working towards my goals. At the end of the year I carry over any unfinished business to the next year’s list. I really think it’s a great idea to set goals and go after them. It gives you something to look forward to and work towards.  What ‘s on your list for 2009? Will you take more classes with us? Purchase your first home? Focus on getting healthy? Pick up a new hobby? Tell us what  you plan to achieve this year. Hopefully we can be of some help!

  1. Happy new year to all of you. First of all I wish all of you and the masterminds of this incredible FREE to ALL project a 2009 filled with great health, prosperity, joy, peace and love.

Now, my 2009 goals are to regain my optimal level of physical and biological fitness. Intelectual fitness is another goal, I will learn how to create databases and how to build websites. In the financial realm I want to learn better tools on how to get out of debt and start building wealth. On the spiritual realm I want to continue sharing what I learn with those who are ready to learn.

I am single mom raising my last child, my lifelong dream has always been to finish college, but not having saved for my children’s education has taken me to borrow and now paying for those loans makes it a bit more distant for me to go back to college any time soon. Even my local Community college is not affordable to me ($400 per class)

Finding your website(Happy New Year to me!!! :-) has given me the gift of learning. I love been a life long learning. My passions in life are urban organic gardening (permaculture), our planet’s preservation for future generations and with that education been the venue to reach my goals.

    Blessings to all.

  2. My primary goal this year is to learn how to put together a website. I have been told many times that “it’s easy!”, but we have tried to have other folks put it together for us, and it must not be all that easy. It looks very basic, and is hard to get them to update.
So this year, I want to learn to do it myself. I’ve just taken the course on this website for PowerPoint. While taking the course, I had a topic that I need to speak about in a few weeks, so I used that topic to build a presentation while taking the course. By the time I was past the intro and into the basics, my presentation was put together. Incredible!
So now if you folks could put together a similar course on how to build a website, I’d be the first to sign up for your course!

  3. We are a homeschooling family and I just went to the website to augment what we do at home. We have OpenOffice 3. Your class is version 1.1.4. It would be great if this were updated to the latest version. Until then I will see if my children can work through it and figure out the differences. We will keep you updated.

  4. salinacreers,
Have you tried using google docs? It is also free and I personally really like it. You are right, it is time for an update to our open office class! I will put that on our to do list!

    2.To finish my computure studies.
    3.To find better job.
    4.Buy a car
5.And lastly to make sure that i am HAPPY everytime.

  7. I will be returning to the workforce full time in the fall of 2009. For the last three years I have been the day care provider for my now four year old granddaughter, loving every second of it but now must look toward her attending school full time in September of this year. Therfore my plan is to beef up my computer skills by learning all I can about the Microsoft Office software programs adding that to my resume of managerial work in hopes of obtaining a nice little 9-5 Mon-Fri. position and removing myself from the retail world. I was so excited when I found this website! I also am in a position where attending traditional college classes is out of my budget. Thankyou so much for providing this opportunity. I look forward to reading and reading and learning more from all who are here to help.
