New Week, New Challenge
Sometimes your brain just doesn’t work! It’s a new week and I’m trying to come up with new ideas for the blog. I haven’t recorded an Ask Allison in a while so maybe I should start there. It would be simple to do the usual and answer a user’s tech question or give software advice but I want to do something different, something exciting, something that our audience wouldn’t expect from us but would appreciate and learn something from. Hmm….Here I go again with a new week and a new challenge!
I often wonder how other bloggers, writers, and producers decide on their content. I haven’t figured it out yet but I can tell you how I do it. I love reading certain tech magazines and watching tech and education oriented podcasts. I like to think I stay abreast with what’s going on in the tech world so if I read about or hear something I think our audience may enjoy I start thinking of ways to deliver the info. It all starts with me jumping right in and learning as much as I can about that particular thing. Then I grab a pencil and a piece of paper. Yeah, we have plenty of computers around here but I think better with a pencil in my hand! I start by introducing the new topic. Then I get into the specifics like what it does, why I like it, etc.. Then I think about the best way to deliver all this. Will I produce a video, an audio podcast, or should I just write about it? Well being the visual person that I am, I like to view what I’m learning so I figure you do too! This is when I open Camtasia, record the screen captures, do some editing, and present it to a teammate to make sure it makes sense. Everything I do makes sense to me but I need to make sure it makes sense to other people. That being said, I usually end up doing another edit before a video goes live! Coming up with content for other areas of the site is another story! We’ll just say it takes a lot longer. Sometimes I wonder what our audience wants to learn or see on our site. So tell me, what should our next project be? Do you want to learn more about protecting your network at home from online thieves or do you want to see how a local band uses technology to produce a record? I’m open to any suggestions. I can’t wait to hear from you. C-ya next time!

New week new challenge is one of the other, on the 19th May it has been a new day and a ney begin of hard times for me.but i am ready for anything.i always say that,everyday woke with a big smile for a new day has come.and that, challenges are my stepping stone to better somebody.you can cry if your challenges for a day are hard for you and there after,stand up dust yourself to become somebody.and i always have this thing in my mind that tough time do not last but tough people do last.smile to evry challenge that comes your way.be blessed everyone.
